We're walking out the door of a store the same time a police officer is walking in. He holds the door open for Oakley and me. Oakley is walking in front of me and as she passes the police officer she salutes him! Doesn't say a word, just gives him a real serious salute!
We walked past this man who had Carhartt overalls on and a camo hat (the exact same hat David wears). Oakley stops and says "Umm, excuse me? Are you my dad?" The man gave me a funny look and then said "Not that I know of sweetheart."
Oakley was holding her hand out letting the dogs sniff her. Oakley started giggling, so my mom asked her if the dogs were licking her. Oaks said "No, they're snacking on me."
