Oakley had a doctor’s appointment today for her feet. They were running behind, so we were there several hours. It made for a loooonnng day. But we got good news. The doctor is thrilled with the results of the serial casting. Oakley responded well to it and appears to be on the right track. In fact, Oakley is doing so well that she doesn’t even need to be wearing her braces anymore during the day; only at night while she sleeps. We go back in 3 months for another check up and the doctor expects that Oakley will be able to discontinue the use of her braces all together! We’re so happy that everything has gone so well!
Oakley got to wear the goofy lookin shorts provided by the hospital to people who forget their own shorts to wear while the doctors work with you. But I the nurse commented that they looked especially cute on Oakley. I agree!
